Beaches are popular for a reason as they provide ample recreational opportunities for kids and adults alike.Perfect time to trek the beach lines are the late post monsoon seasons. While kids frequent beaches due to their love for the waves and the never ending stretches of sand, adults are no different from kids on a weekend visiting beaches as they provide an escape from the rigorous routine of daily life.

                          The Malpe Beach is one of a kind, where you can fully enjoy the rest and peace that you require together with nature and relish every single moment. Cosseted in the lap of nature, the beaches from Kapu light house to Malpe are pristine and make for a riveting weekend experience. Lets add the fun and excitement of trekking along the beach and unfold the beauty of the effulgent shores of Malpe and camping at the beaches of Kota.

About the trek:-
        Trekking the coast lines is a beautiful and a challenging experience cause of the humid conditions prevailing at the shores. The trek to Malpe starts from Kapu light house beach and ends at paradise isle beach malpe. This trek is through varied landscape of beach sand, rocky terrains,small scrub patches etc,

Winding the  trek at Malpe beach the Alphites team will board the bus towards Kota beach where we will camp for the night.

Note;- *We conduct treks to create awareness about nature and its protection, so its all our prime duty to protect the forests from being polluted. Its a humble request to all fellow trekkers to get their own non plastic utilities for trek and try minimizing the usage of plastics. Even if plastics are used its our responsibility to carry them back to the civilization for proper disposal.
*Trekking the coast lines of kapu beach to malpe is being attempted for the first time.so its more likely going to be a exploration trek.

Cancellation of participation any time after registration till before 7 days to trek date-50% cash refund shall be made.
Cancellation of participation before 3 days to trek date- 40% cash refund shall be made.
Cancellation of participation in the last 72 hours- no refund shall be made. 
*Transportation is in non AC push back buses depending on the strength of the team.
*Any kind of decision to be made is completely in the hands of the instructor,no appeals shall be entertained against the instructor's decision.
*Consumption of alcohol, other narcotics and smoking is strictly prohibited.Those found guilty will be penalized by the instructors.
*Miss behavior in words or action shall be considered as a crime and action shall be taken on the individual found guilt.
*All the schedules and itinerary made are tentative, individual opinion shall not be entertained. We all are together in this as a team.
*Any extra unavoidable expenses not mentioned above but have very less chances of occurring shall  be shared equally by the team.
*Accommodations are in basic tents or in home stay rooms if available. Do not expect luxury in trekking for its not a picnic.
*Kids below 12 of age should be accompanied by their parent for trekking.
Weather condition is volatile so carry what is required for your safety from rain and sun.Pack light as possible with the items mentioned below :-)

  9. Personal medication and first aid kit*
  10. Snacks,chocolates,dry fruits and other energy drinks.*
  11. Non plastic plates(tiffin box preferred) and tumblers.*

  13. Garbage covers(2-3)*
  14. Caps or Hats and sunscreen

Itinerary;-

  • 23rd night depart from bangalore around 8pm
  • 24th morning reach Kapu beach, fresh up in the public facilities, have breakfast, packed lunch, visit the Light house,start our trek.
  • By 3pm reach malpe beach, spend time experiencing the waves in the shores,the turquoise water and sand, by 5pm board the bus towards kota beach.
  • Reach Kota beach by 6pm and pitch tent for the night. .
  • 25th morning, fresh up,sunrise view,play,activities, breakfast,by 9am embark on your return journey to Bangalore. 
  • Have self sponsored lunch on our way.

Every adventurist and trekkers are familiar with the name Kumaraparvatha,a paradisaical beauty situated amidst the Western Ghats belt which is one of the biodiversity hotspot in India. 
The trail to kumaraparvatha hovers 7 hills which will take you across the most stunning escapades bound with lush flora and fauna. Added to the party is trekking this trail in the post monsoon season.Though monsoon trekking in this place is the toughest, its worth the risk to experience and enjoy the allurement and refinement of mother nature.
For those looking out to explore the wilderness of the western ghats, kumaraparvatha would be a challenging start up and a good teacher.

  • 5th morning reach kukke temple, fresh up in the public facilities, have breakfast, packed lunch, start ascending by 7am
  • By noon reach the forest office, take permission, have packed lunch, keep the bagpacks at the forest office,take what's necessary and start ascending further towards the peak.
  • by evening reach the peak,sunset view,photo session, and start descending.
  • added bonus is the descending back to forest office at night, reach forest office before 9pm fresh up, cook and have dinner, rest for the day.
  • 6th morning, fresh up,cook and have breakfast, start descending towards kukke.
  • reach kukke by afternoon, fresh up in KUMARADHARA  river, have self sponsored lunch, and depart towards bangalore
    • reach Bangalore by or before 7pm.

 Bandaje Arbi falls Survival Trek with Alpha Trekkateers Group

About Bandaje falls:
                                     
                               Bandaje falls is a breath taking cascade located in the Charmadi ghat section of the Western Ghats in the Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka. The waterfalls can be reached only by trekking in thick forests and grass lands with the help of local guides or experienced trek organizers.This trek has one of the most challenging trail to reach the Waterfalls and its all worth the effort to reach the falls and camp beside the natural cascade and spend the night inside the jungle thickets. The trek can be taken up in all other seasons except monsoon however the best time to trek bandaje is the post monsoon till the early summer(October-March) The height of waterfalls is about 250 feet.
                                                           
             

Duration: 2 days(3 nights-2 days)

    Trek via dense forest to bandaje arbi falls
    Enjoy over night camping near the cascade.

            Continue trekking to Ballalarayana durga fort on second day.
                        Survival expedition  ends at Sunkasala
Transportation:-
 Depending on the no. of people finalized, non AC  transportation shall be arranged.......The organizers can change the mode of transportation (public or private) depending on various factors.This trek can be customized for a minimum no.of 12 people.Confirmation of seats for the trek is based on first come first serve. The trek shall be canceled if the minimum no.of people in the team is not filled by the deadline of payment of the trekking amount.

Inclusive;-  Transportation(to and fro), food(1 lunch,1 dinner,2 breakfast, beverage),tented accommodation, permission fee, any guide charges, instructor charge, adventure goodies.

*Accommodations are in waterproof QUECHUA tents. Do not expect luxury( bathrooms,toilets, even a roof over your head sometimes) in trekking for its not a picnic.
*Toilets may or may not be  available for fresh up, but the team  ll try its best to arrange facilities to fresh up. one should depend on nature for everything and anything during treks.
