Every adventurist and trekkers are familiar with the name Kumaraparvatha,a paradisaical beauty situated amidst the Western Ghats belt which is one of the biodiversity hotspot in India. 
The trail to kumaraparvatha hovers 7 hills which will take you across the most stunning escapades bound with lush flora and fauna. Added to the party is trekking this trail in the post monsoon season.Though monsoon trekking in this place is the toughest, its worth the risk to experience and enjoy the allurement and refinement of mother nature.
For those looking out to explore the wilderness of the western ghats, kumaraparvatha would be a challenging start up and a good teacher.

Note;- *We conduct treks to create awareness about nature and its protection, so its all our prime duty to protect the forests from being polluted. Its a humble request to all fellow trekkers to get their own non plastic utilities for trek and try minimizing the usage of plastics. Even if plastics are used its our responsibility to carry them back to the civilization for proper disposal
*Confirmation of seats should be made by prior payment of advance amount to block your seats. Online transaction options are also available. Contact the instructor for the details.
*Transportation is in non AC push back buses depending on the strength of the team.
*Any kind of decision to be made is completely in the hands of the instructor,no appeals shall be entertained against the instructor's decision.
*Consumption of alcohol, other narcotics and smoking is strictly prohibited.Those found guilty will be penalized by the instructors.
*Miss behavior in words or action shall be considered as a crime and action shall be taken on the individual found guilt.
*All the schedules and itinerary made are tentative, individual opinion shall not be entertained. We all are together in this as a team.
*Any extra unavoidable expenses not mentioned above but have very less chances of occurring shall  be shared equally by the team.
*Accommodations are in basic tents and in the place provided by the forest officials. Do not expect luxury in trekking for its not a picnic.
*Kids below 12 of age should be accompanied by their parent for trekking.
*Toilets are available for fresh up only at the foot hill and at the forest office. one should depend on nature during trekking.
Weather condition in western ghats is volatile so carry what is required for your safety from rain and sun.Pack light as possible with the items mentioned below :-)

Itinerary;-
  • 4th night depart from bangalore around 9pm
  • 5th morning reach kukke temple, fresh up in the public facilities, have breakfast, packed lunch, start ascending by 7am
  • By noon reach the forest office, take permission, have packed lunch, keep the bagpacks at the forest office,take what's necessary and start ascending further towards the peak.
  • by evening reach the peak,sunset view,photo session, and start descending.
  • added bonus is the descending back to forest office at night, reach forest office before 9pm fresh up, cook and have dinner, rest for the day.
  • 6th morning, fresh up,cook and have breakfast, start descending towards kukke.
  • reach kukke by afternoon, fresh up in KUMARADHARA  river, have self sponsored lunch, and depart towards bangalore
    • reach Bangalore by or before 7pm.

Things to carry;-

  1. 50ltrs bagpack with rain cover*
  2. rain jackets or ponchos** 
  3. Good gripy shoes*
  4. 3 ltrs water bottles*
  5. torches**
  6. sleeping bags**
  7. change of clothes,socks
  8. lighters and safety gears(optional) 
  9. personal medication and first aid kit**
  10. snacks,chocolates,dry fruits and other energy drinks.*
  11. non plastic plates(tiffin box preferred) and tumblers.***
  12. Id proof copy***
  13. Garbage covers(2-3)*
  14. Caps or Hats
