 "Yoga Hike" A very new and effective methodology of practicing the ART of YOGA amidst the serenity of nature, be it at a waterfalls, or at the edge of a cliff or the silent meadows within the jungle.It is here in the middle of nature, the practice of yoga gains a complete form and self realization of oneself.

The practice of Artistic yoga in the wilderness has therapeutic effects on the individual's health for clean Air and Ambience is equally important with right practice. 
Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured, it is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.

Yoga sessions by Yagnika Madhusudhan Iyengar ,certified instructor and trained under direct disciples of BKS Iyengar Shantala madhu.Currently teaching Ashtanga  Yoga and practicing Yoga Therapy in SVYASA university.

Itinerary;-
  • 26th May 2017 9pm departure from bangalore,starting pickup point bannerghatta road Decathlon
  • 27th May 2017 6am reach the foot hill, jeep ride to the homestay, fresh up, yoga sessions starts by 7.30am,have breakfast.
  • 10am start the trek, reach the peak by noon, have packed lunch,spend time in the peak and start descending towards homestay.
  • By 3pm reach homestay,fresh up, Yoga sessions at waterfalls
  • By 6pm reach homestay ,fresh up, snacks, campfire,group fun, camping in tents, rest for the night.
  • 28th May 2017 5am wake up ,fresh up, by 6am yoga session in the coffee estate cliff, 
  • 8.30am have breakfast, sightseeing, pack up and depart, jeep ride to the base, board the bus, depart towards bangalore, on our way have lunch in hotel,by 8pm reach bangalore.
Note- *drop points are same as pickup points.
* Sleeping foam mattress, pillow and rugs are provided in the homestay, those who have their own sleeping bag can also get it.

*All the schedules and itinerary made are tentative, individual opinion shall not be entertained. We all are together in this as a team. Schedules and sometimes the trek destination itself can be changed due to  various factors.In that case the trek amount paid shall not be refunded  rather  ll  be carried over to the trek.if the individual is not interested to trek in the changed destination,refund shall not be made at last moment.
*Any extra unavoidable expenses not mentioned above but have very less chances of occurring shall  be shared equally by the team.
*Accommodations are in basic tents or in the place provided by the localities. Do not expect luxury( bathrooms,toilets, (even a roof over your head sometimes) in trekking for its not a picnic. one should depend on nature for everything and anything during treks.

Every adventurist and hiker is familiar with the name Kumaraparvatha,a paradisaical beauty situated amidst the Western Ghats belt which is one of the biodiversity hotspot in India




If  you are looking out for a perfect time to trek kumaraparvath then pre monsoon it is..The trail to kumaraparvatha hovers 7 hills over 20km(approx)which will take you across the most stunning escapades bound with lush flora and fauna.Though monsoon trekking in this place is the toughest, its worth the risk to experience and enjoy the allurement and refinement of mother nature.
For those looking out to explore the wilderness of the western ghats, kumaraparvatha would be a challenging start up and a good teacher.

  • 12th night depart from bangalore around 9pm.Starting pickup point Decathlon bannerghatta road. 
  • 13th morning reach kukke temple, fresh up in the public facilities, have breakfast, packed lunch, start ascending by 7am
  • By noon reach the forest office, take permission, have packed lunch, keep the backpacks at the forest office,take what's necessary and start ascending further towards the peak.
  • By evening reach the peak,sunset view,photo session, and start descending.
  • Added bonus is the descending back to forest office at night, reach forest office before 9pm fresh up, dinner at BHATTA'S dine in, campfire, group fun, stargazing, rest for the night.
  • 14th morning wake up early, sun rise view, fresh up and start descending towards kukke.
  • Reach kukke by 9am, Breakfast in hotel, swim and play in KUMARADHARA  river, have self sponsored lunch, and depart towards bangalore

MEESAPULIMALAI TREK IN GOD'S OWN COUNTRY- KERALA

MEESAPULIMALAI- TREK TO THE SECOND HIGHEST PEAK IN SOUTH INDIA

Nesteled amongst the deep thickets of Munnar forests in the "Gods own country Kerala" is this paradise called MEESAPULIMALAI at an altitude of 2650 mtrs or 8660 ft above MSL is the second highest peak in South India. Truly an enthralling trek destination, a must go trekkers paradise in summer .

Meesapulimalai is about 25 km from munnar and can be trekked from a village called kurangani. Tall pine trees wave to you from both sides of the trek trail followed by shola forests and open grasslamds and a no mans peak where u can feel and touch the rising cloud like mist almost throughout the day unlike other trekking destinations.

Tentative itinerary
 
-

28th April-
  • 9pm departure from bangalore, starting point bannerghatta road Decathlon
  • Pickups shall be fixed two days prior to the trek and the same shall be conveyed to the team
29th April-
  • 6am reach the foot hill, fresh up.
  • Have breakfast, packed lunch, permission from the forest dpt. 
  • by 7am start to trek.
  • By 4pm reach the camping site, fresh up , visit to the tea factory, 
  • By 8pm hot dinner served at the cliff of estate, Campfire, fun, stargazing at an height of 8000ft, rest for the day.
30th April-
  • 3.30am wakeup, freshup and start to trek towards meesapulimalai from campsite
  • reach the peak before sunrise and wait for the sunrise ,
  • photo sessions, spend some time , by 6.30am start descending towards campsite
  • 8am reach the campsite, have breakfast, and by 9am start descending towards foot hill.
  • reach the foot hills by 1.30pm, freshup ,have self sponsored lunch and start towards bangalore
  • if possible visit the close by waterfalls , spend time till evening, have self sponsored dinner  and start towards bangalore.
1st of May-
  • By or before 6am reach Bangalore.
