About Madhugiri -

Madhugiri fort located in the Tumakuru dst, is the second largest Monolith hill in Asia. The name madhugiri means Honey hill. Built in the 17th century by Raja Hirae Gowda, stands this majestic fortress that's within the hill itself. The lush greenery surrounding the fortress hillock of madhugiri, the rocky terrain, series of doorways that leads to the final fort atop the hill are some highlights of this trek. Best suited for all age groups to explore, madhugiri is a paradise for family adventure tours.
