Arabi falls is a breath taking cascade located in the charmadi ghat region of the western ghats. The waterfalls can be scaled only by trekking through the thick jungles and lush green grass lands with the help of govt guides.

Tentative Itinerary-
7th June -
- 9pm departure from bangalore, meetup point and enroute pickup points will be announced later.
- 7am reach the destination, Breakfast, packed lunch, start ascending.
- Reach the falls by 2pm,replenish ourselves in the chilling waters, have lunch,sunset view from the falls, camping and campfire fun under favorable conditions,cooking activity,hot dinner served, stargazing activity, rest for the night.
9th June -
- Wake up , sunrise view, Fresh up , cook breakfast, start further ascending towards Ballalarayanadurga fort.
- By 11 am reach the fort,enroute ecology knowledge sharing session, and continue towards base camp.
- Reach base camp around 1 pm, board the bus, start towards bangalore,self sponsored lunch enroute.
- Reach bangalore by or before 10 pm.

Things to carry-
- Sturdy backpack and trekking shoes
- Least 2 ltr water bottle COMPULSORY
- Umbrella or hats and poncho to protect from harsh sun and rain
- Sunscreen and Torch compulsory
- LUNCH BOX ,Spoon and Tumbler compulsory to be carried by every individual(ecofriendly)
- Change of cloths, spare socks
- Insulation jackets,safety gears and lighters (Optional to the individual)
- Personal medication, garbage bag,Id proof copy compulsory to be carried by every individual
- Enough snacks and energy supplies to last for two days
- Sufficient cash, Camera(Optional)
- Sleeping bag or Quilt.

I'm writing this just to make others not to miss the right place for your Adventure experience.
ReplyDeleteLet Me Make it short summary to describe my experience with Alfa Trekkateers Group (ATG).
It was in 2016 that i had my last trekking with ATG and Had to take a very long Break Of Almost 3 years due to personal commitments.
Finally time arrived for me to resume my Trekking again with none other than ATG, I couldn't think of any other trekking group in these 3 years only because of the impact and Experience ATG have created to me and many others.
This time it was for The Best Bandaje Falls Trek to Beat the Regular City Life and Take A Time to Rejuvanate in the Jungle far from Horn Sound, Conditioned Air and Artificial Lights etc.
Never Knew My 3 yrs wait was to witness this Heavenly experience.
Highlights Of "ATG"
1. This is not like the regular trek group where you just make a payment of Package and just go as per their instructions without any involvment, But in ATG with Best and Experienced person Sharath guiding us all through A-Z will make you feel completely Involved in whole Trek. At the end you feel like it was your own trekking group.
2. Not just you stay in the tent on the peak but ATG will teach you how to set up tent and knowledge will be transferred to all.
3. ATG will carry all the necessary stuffs to instantantly serve you regarding to food, first AID and Premitive Skills.
4. You'll Be Involved in Cooking activity like your own family/Friends, Collect the Woods around the camp site and make arrangements to begin the Cooking process (all on your own Interest). Imagine Cooking Hot Noodles and Other Foods Beside Waterfalls, Woww Cant Express you shud experience.
5. You'll have fire camp, Musical Night (Not always from device, They encourage you to sing sing sing louder and enjoy) Get to know each other.
6. Sharath from ATG Very Much Experienced with most required Premitive skills abt the Jungle and things to predict in there. He Will lead from the front with other experienced organizers keep on guiding us on the way trials.
Leaches Leaches Leaches!!! The night mare for every common ppl, but dont worry as i said earlier with their experience they'll provide you the precuations which will help us to easily win over leaches (i cant reveal that trick though)
I Further Dont want to be Spoiler still lot more to cover but i suggest you to join ATG once to decide on your own parameter along with everything that ive mentioned.
So Thats it from my review for the ppl who never tried ATG, I will continue to explore more with ATG long way.
One of most impt thing abt ATG group is that they carry Garbage bags and Collect as much as plastics littered around the trial by some stupid ppl. ATG are very much concerned abt protecting the nature, Collectiong all the plastics litters are of main Motto on thei every trek.
DeleteIt was the most wonderful, funfilled, mesmerizing, immensed in nature experience I had in this trek to the thick jungle of Bandaje falls.
ReplyDeleteI personally opted this trek just for a weekend relaxation and by the end of the trek I realized it wasn't a just a weekend getaway,
It was an experience of a lifetime which leaves you with everlasting memories.
At the end of the trek everyone of them in the trek were like why was the trek finished so soon because with all the fun we had we didn't know that 2 days just went like that but as they say Part of the journey is the end!!
I thought I will just attend this trek as a one time thing but it just became my quarterly habit, I am intrigued by the way everything is organized including travelling, safety, food and everything planned by the Alphites team.
Kudos to the planning head sharath and count me in for all the future treks organized.
