Dudhsagar Waterfalls Trail walk

The Spectacular Cataracts of Dudhsagar Falls

Its the beginning of postmonsoon season & guess whats on our next checklist? It's Chennai Express!! Yes, yooouuu heard it right. Its the majestic Dudhsagar waterfalls from the movie "Chennai Express". This bewitching cascade is located in the Sanguem Taluk of Goa. About 550 km from Bangalore, it's an overnight journey to reach this heaven on earth.
Crossing river Mandovi

The name DUDHSAGAR literally translates to "Sea of Milk" cascading from a height of 1100ft approx, it's a breathtaking lifetime experience to sight this falls & camp next to it. While the falls are at their zenith during monsoon seasons, they are a popular year-round attraction for tourists from across the world.
The falls is nestled in the middle of a deciduous forest as an extension of river Mandovi, hosting a wide variety of birds, insects, reptiles & other rare species of animals.
Trail walk to witness this marvellous beauty takes us along a 'not so tough' 11 km walk through the woods & varied terrains of western-ghats.
With the Alphites team, it's going to be one memorable trail walk to this majestic waterfalls (which was closed for tourists for almost 3 years now) has regained limited tourist access.
