Finally, the wait comes to an end as the bewildering showers have arrived in the western ghats for us to Plan a monsoon date with the rain forests of Agumbe.
Once a bubbly town during the British era, Agumbe is now almost abandoned with a population of less than 500 in numbers. It rests along the western coast of South India and holds the record of receiving the highest rainfall annually (next to Chirapunjee).
The numerous waterfalls in & around Agumbe, the prowling thick foggy breeze, are not just eyeful but a soulful witness to be experienced by every tourist.
This bike expedition aims at exploring the wet and wild regions of Agumbe & camp in the tribal village, a million-star hotel with custom showers.

Riders criteria -
Below mentioned requirements are a mus to all participants. Pillion riders are also encouraged to join the tour.
- Bike - 180 cc or above (own or rented).
- Riding gears
- DL & other vehicle docs.
- Personal medication if any.
For Non-riders criteria - non-riders can get your friends along to join the squad, Can become pillions if the riders with bikes agree, or simply take a jolly drive in the backup vehicle arranged for this expedition.

By bikes for riders, Back up vehicle for luggage. The nonriders have options to choose between being a pillion or taking a seat in the 4 wheeler.

Itinerary -
10th August,
- 4.30 am meetup ( meetup point shall be conveyed to the squad later),
- 5 am Departure from meetup point,
- 8.30 am breakfast en route,
- 12 pm reach the jungle village house.
- Hot lunch served, rest for a while,
- 4pm visit to Doddamane & nearby waterfall attraction point,
- 6 pm sunset point,
- 7pm back at the house for tea & snacks,
- 8 pm campfire, barbeque party,
- 11 pm rest for the night.
11thAugust,
- 7 am wakeup call,
- 8 am hot breakfast and tea served,
- 9 am start towards Kudlu theertha waterfalls, trail walk to the falls, take a refreshing dip & start towards Bangalore via Sakleshpur,
- Enroute visit Manjarabadh fort which is a must-go place in monsoon,
- Reach Bangalore by 7pm

- Sturdy backpack and shoes,
- Least 2 ltr water bottle COMPULSORY,
- Raincoats, poncho apart from riding gears,
- Sunscreen and Torch compulsory
